1. Purpose of the Policy

  • Makes a payment to a seller through the company
  • Seeks employment with the company

3. How We Use Personal Data

The company collects, uses, and discloses individual’s personal data for the following purposes:

Matching prospective sellers to buyers

  • Creating profiles for sellers and buyers to post listings
  • Responding to individuals requests and queries
  • Managing internal administration and management of personal data
  • Internal and external communications
  • Management and administration of employees

Any matters by which the individual is reasonably associated with, affiliated to or related to the company

As much as possible, the company seeks to only collect necessary personal data from the individual.

4. How We Disclose Personal Data

By submitting their personal data to the company, the individual consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their information by the company for the purposes as detailed in section 3

When collecting data for the purposes outside of those stated in section 3.1., fresh consent will be sought from the individual whose data is being collected, on top of the consent originally given for the collection, use, and disclosure of data.

If an individual provides us with the personal information of a third party (e.g. spouse, children, parents, or relatives), they represent to us that they have obtained the consent of the party to provide us with their respective personal data being collected.

An individual may at any time withdraw any consent that may have been obtained by the company for the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data, unless the information is required by the company to fulfill its legal obligations. This can be done by means of a formal written notice to the Data Protection Officer of the company.

An individual should be aware that once a notice is made under section 4.4. of this policy, the company may be unable to fulfill its services to the individual.

5. How We Ensure Data Accuracy

The company shall make every reasonable effort to ensure that the individual’s information it collects is accurate, up-to-date, and complete. The company relies on self-notification from individuals to ensure any changes to personal data which is relevant to the company.

6. How We Ensure Data Protection

The company shall make every reasonable effort to protect individuals data against any unauthorized disclosure.

Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, the personal data of individuals may be disclosed, for the purposes as detailed in section 3.1, to the following:

  • Prospective sellers or buyers to link them to the individual
  • Agents, contractors or third party service providers to the company
  • Our professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants
  • Relevant government regulators, statutory boards, authorities or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, regulations, guidelines, rules or schemes imposed by any governmental agency
  • Any other party to whom the individual authorizes us to disclose data to

The company will take reasonable measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss. The individual should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of the personal data and will constantly review and enhance our information security measures.

The employees and staff of the company are required to keep personal data confidential and only authorized people have access to such information

This policy may be updated from time to time to take account for changes in policy or technology, or in accordance with legislative or regulatory changes, to ensure compliance with them.

Unless otherwise stated or agreed, the continued use of the company’s services indicate the continued acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by this policy, as well as any changes made to it.
